Geography
Park Royal is in north-west London, around 9 miles from the centre of London. It lies partly within the London Borough of Ealing and partly within the London Borough of Brent. The Grand Union Canal meanders through the centre of the Park Royal industrial estate. Park Royal is an industrial area with some residential housing. It is dominated by the huge Park Royal Business Park.
Getting around
Park Royal is served by three train stations: Hanger Lane, Park Royal and Stonebridge Park. Hanger Lane station is on the Central Line, Park Royal station is on the Picadilly Line and Stonebridge Park Station is on the Bakerloo and Watford DC Lines.
The main roads entering and leaving the area are the A406 and the A40. The major interchange known as the Hanger Lane gyratory is very nearby.
From 2015, a Cycle Superhighway will run from Hyde Park out to Park Royal. At the moment, the area is connected to Cycle Network routes 85, 84, 42 and 40.
Park Royal may not be the most scenic area of London, but it is very well set up for businesses. Its great transport links and affordable prices make it the perfect location for all sorts of enterprises.
Office space
Park Royal Business Park offers office space, light industrial units, retail units and large warehousing facilities. There are also plenty of offices for rent outside of the park. Prices for offices range from around to £150 per person per month to £350 per person per month.
Prices for retail units and warehouses vary hugely depending on the size of the facility and the amenities included. Overall though, Park Royal compares very favourably with most other London locations.
Park Royal is well connected to London's transport network and is easily accessible by road which makes it a great location for businesses that need to either take in, or send out regular deliveries.

Park Royal is the site of London's largest business park, the 1200 acre Park Royal Business Park. More than 1200 businesses are located within the park and together they employ over 35,000 workers. 500 of those companies are involved in food production and they employ more than 15,000 of the site's workers. Around 30% of all food consumed by Londoners is made by businesses located at Park Royal Business Park.
Most of the businesses resident in Park Royal are small to medium-sized enterprises but some large companies also have premises there including McVities, Heinz, drinks giant Diageo (owners of Guinness) and The Female Health Company.
As you would expect, such a huge commercial centre dominates the local economy, with many of Royal Park's residents finding employment there. Several small businesses have popped up around the site to serve the needs of the 35,000 workers.
Most of the area is reserved for commercial use but there are some residential and retail areas.
